Welcome to my Studio

I am so excited you have chosen to start or continue your musical journey and hope that I would be a great fit for your child. I am located inside of Power Ranch in Gilbert AZ. Although I have been here only since 2020, I have been teaching for over 9 years.

Learning an instrument is an excellent choice that is challenging but very rewarding.  I utilize a reward system to help encourage my students to practice, try there best and put effort into everything they do.  Holding my students accountable is a high priority, as nothing is achieved without practice, by utilizing the online practice log students are able to log their practice, communicate their strengths and weaknesses so that we are able to work together and play the best they can!

Even though all of this sounds amazing, what separates me from the rest of the private instructors? I’m so glad you asked! I have actually created my personal online studio to act as supplemental use at home! That’s right, when you’re done with your in person lesson, you will have access to the exact same music online that continues to go over the music, how to play it and videos of the music to be played along with. Learning does not stop at my door step, but continues to your home to extend your child’s learning and understanding.

Although Violin is my main instrument to play/ teach, I have decided to broad my horizons and am taking on Viola students, beginning and intermediate; and beginning Cello students. I have been teaching Viola students since 2021 and Cello since 2022.

Lastly, I am excited to announce that I am BBB Certified and accredited

“Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without”

– Confucius

After years with a bigger studio in town, we decided our son needed a more tailored approach to his lessons. Although we were both intimidated by making the change, we could not be happier with the results. In just 6 months, you could see just how much he was learning and progressing. In that short amount of time, time that it took the bigger studio years to develop, Erin was able to help our 9-year-old become a more well-rounded violinist.

Erin is a wonderful music teacher. She is kind, patient, and has a vast knowledge of music and violin technique and performance. My daughter began lessons with no violin experience, and she can now play several pieces. I enjoy watching her skills and confidence grow. I am thankful to have found Erin; she is fantastic!
